Mission
CarMotion Daily provides a clean, ad-free daily snapshot of the most interesting automotive news from major publications. Our goal is to make it easy for car enthusiasts to stay informed without navigating paywalls, popups, or clickbait.
Content Selection
Articles are selected from 11 major automotive news RSS feeds. The automated pipeline picks the most relevant and interesting stories each day, with a maximum of 5 articles published per day to maintain quality over quantity.
Rewriting Standards
- No verbatim copying: Every sentence is restated in fresh wording by our LLM pipeline.
- Factual fidelity: All numbers (horsepower, price, year, range), proper nouns (brand, model, person names), and dates are preserved exactly as in the source.
- Original analysis: Each article includes a "Why It Matters" section and a "CarMotion Daily's Take" section that provide editorial context beyond the source article.
- Source linking: Every article includes a prominent link back to the original source for full coverage.
Editorial Values
- Transparency: We disclose our use of AI and automation. See our AI Disclosure.
- Accuracy: Errors are corrected promptly. See our Corrections Policy.
- Fair use: We publish short summaries (under 250 words) with links to original sources, under Fair Use principles.
- No clickbait: Titles accurately reflect the story content.
Content Volume
To comply with search engine quality guidelines and avoid "scaled content abuse" penalties, CarMotion Daily publishes a maximum of 5 articles per day. This is a deliberate editorial choice, not a technical limitation.
Original Content
In addition to curated news, CarMotion Daily publishes original analysis pieces weekly, including comparison articles, brand deep-dives, and editorial roundups. These are clearly marked as original content.
