A sporty and fun sport sedan, the Lexus IS 350 AWD checks a lot of boxes for me.

Friend of the site Connie Peters reviews the new Lexus IS 350. Take a look at the video or transcript below to see what she thinks. The TTAC Creators Series tells stories and amplifies creators from all corners of the car world, including culture, dealerships, collections, modified builds and more.
According to the reviewer, the car strikes an appealing balance between sportiness and everyday comfort. It delivers strong acceleration, confident handling, and responsive cornering without the harshness or aggressiveness of a dedicated sports car.
The reviewer particularly appreciates the physical gear selector, volume knob, and the new infotainment system. The 2026 model receives Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes features such as:.
The backup camera also receives special praise for its high image quality and transparent-view technology. The reviewer notes that rear legroom is adequate but not especially spacious, which is typical for a compact sport sedan.
The overall conclusion is highly positive. The reviewer describes the IS 350 as an attractive, enjoyable, and refined sports sedan that successfully balances luxury and performance.
While it isn’t intended to compete with hardcore performance cars, it serves well as a practical and engaging five-passenger family sedan. Connie Peters is an automotive video creator and journalist covering all types of cars and trucks for the past ten years in suburban Vancouver.
So I bought a 2025. I bought it primarily because I loved the exterior styling and the (potential) appeal of a V6 engine. I have an F- Sport AWD. So far, the things I like apart from the styling are the physical buttons which, for the most part, are quite intuitive and the ride quality.
However, the car has severe issues with pedal/ transmission response. I think the 6-speed is maybe just a bad transmission but acceleration is kind of a mystery in this car. Some of the time it is extremely responsive and feels properly quick, other times I swear I’m driving a 150 horsepower car. I don’t know how else to put it.
Why It Matters
Although I knew that I was sacrificing long-term durability and resale value compared to the Lexus, i ended up buying a Genesis G70 3.3T AWD.
